We retained Aguado Immigration Firm PLLC for my cousin’s immigration case. The night we paid the retainer, my cousin’s self-deportation request was approved the very next day. My sister, who was the primary point of contact with the firm, called immediately to explain that his self-deportation had already been approved and that their services would no longer be needed. The firm stated they were filing a form to be able to visit my cousin as his attorney. However, my sister explained multiple times that the self-deportation request had already been granted, and there was no longer a need for representation. While we understand that some administrative work may have been completed, the firm never met with my cousin, and to this day we have not received confirmation that the form they claimed
