I was assigned Sarah Riedel as conflict counsel after I declared a conflict with the public defender’s office. Unfortunately, her representation left me feeling abandoned and betrayed. Despite knowing the facts of my case — including a defective probable cause affidavit, prosecutorial misconduct, ex parte communications between the ADA and judge, and evidence suppression — Ms. Riedel filed no motions, raised no objections, and failed to advocate on my behalf. She also did not challenge judicial bias when the court refused to accept my pro se filings, leaving me in a constitutional vacuum where I had no attorney acting for me and was not permitted to represent myself. Heard she was wonderful, and has a multi-faceted practice, fair and reasonable pricing. I hope to be seeing and retaining her soon seein for an administitive matter. I'm hoping i found a peoples champion to navigate the state's complex bureaucracy. Average person can't do much without goid lawyers and the State has plenty. Fair? Amendment: $250 for a consult, and no gaurantee she will be of any help.

I received a letter from Sarah Riedel a year and a half after my divorce was final demanding that I allow my ex husband to come to my house and retrieve items from my home. She was not involved in the original divorce settlement and I had an off duty police officer on my property when he removed all belongings that was awarded him in the divorce decree and the off duty police officer had signed off on this. The letter was demanding and gave me 10 days to respond.
