Brian Ulmer

I happened to be in Court when Brian was presenting a defense in sentencing. He gave an impassioned speech to the Court which was very impressive. I remarked to my client" now that is how a defense Atty is supposed to present a case". I would highly recommend Brian. We do refer cases to Brian routinely.

Do NOT hire this guy. It’s a matter of time until he is barred. I don’t even understand how the reviews are decent. He does NOT fight for you, but against you. I completely changed my life for the better. The only thing I got from him was horrible “plea” deal that had all the highest charges as the deal. Which is not a deal at all, the plea deal was also ILLEGAL, I would have ended up going to state prison and been resentenced because the deal he came up with was illegal. I found a different highly recommended attorney out of this area for the same case and ended up getting a great deal. Brian is more than just a terrible attorney, he doesn’t know what he is doing and should be barred from practicing law. He will not work for you, he will work against you. DO NOT HIRE BRIAN ULMER FOR CRIMI

Unprofessional. Cannot communicate with his clients about what he is working on for them and the status of the services. Never mind returning messages. Even messages left with him directly when he is busy or his mother that works for him or other office staff. I understand things can take time, but nearly zero communication in going on ten months. A close friend just wants a divorce and move on with his life! I would use extreme caution if you wish to use this man for your services.

My experience with him wasn't extensive, but what I can say is that even though he wasn't my lawyer -- he never asked for money -- he helped me quite a bit with advice and even calling the DA on my behalf. He and I texted a number of times, talked on the phone, etc., and for him it was all "pro bono." Anyway, he seems like a good guy.

Brian w ulmer was supposed to have filed my mothers divorce almost 2 years ago. He had her sign all her rights away to all of her martial property to her husband with the promise the divorce papers she signed at the same office vist would be filed within 90 days. Do Why is she still married? Why wasn't the divorce filed? Why won't they call my mother back? We live on the other side of the state we can't just drive there! This is absolute bs and unacceptable. I feel like this law office took advantage of a woman who was running from a controlling man and afraid. They took everything of value with zero compensation to my mother with promise of a legal divorce. Everything was signed so what is going on? I know maybe the state law board will figure it out bc I'm calling tomorrow!
