My wife used this place for her divorce. Hal Brockett is the worst divorce attorney in Texas. He was her father’s law partner for 30 years and didn’t do anything to protect her in this divorce. Got the name off the title of the house but just forgot I guess to mention getting her name off the mortgage. This is standard language in any divorce. ChatGPT would have spit out a better divorce decree in 2 seconds. Now we can’t buy a home because it looks like she already has a mortgage. For what he charged her to do this uncontested divorce, he should be ashamed. Go anywhere else if you need legal help.

Never could get the decree right of my xx husband, he never understood that was her way of making money off him and slowing down our divorce. Her mediation paperwork is horrible this were she tries to steal your stuff from you by having the Paralegal have so many typos. Remember these are professionals they shouldn’t have let me mistakes in their paperwork remember they went to school. “ educated, degreed” I ran my husband through the wringer. Got what I wanted and then some because of her mistake She is all about nickel and dimeing someone to death.

I was able to get in touch with Beth Hill to learn more about the local courts. Her staff is prompt, kind and through; and she was quite knowledgeable while patiently listening to my problem.

Hal never appeared at a single court date and was willing to return very few phone calls, coupled with the fact that his non appearances were the result of last minute cancellations or no call no shows absolutely devastated my case, but as seems to be standard operating procedure at this office was more than willing to take my rather large sum of money as a retainer. I do not recommend this attorney or this law office to anyone that would like to see any positive results in their favor whatsoever.

I highly recommend Beth Hill for any type of family law case. She is a through attorney who fights hard for her clients and gets them what they deserve! She was also great at setting up our family's will and estate.
