If you are a seller and your buyer uses Brumsey be aware that they will NOT do a wire transfer of your funds unless you are their client. This is extremely frustrating if you are trying to close on a new purchase within a week of selling your current property. Most banks hold large checks for upwards of 10 days!

I had a deed transferred to my trust. It took a week to get the draft and one day to sign, notarize, and file it. My attorney in New York took 3 months to prepare the trust, will, power of attorney, and health proxy. Now it's been 2 months since I signed all the papers and the deed given to a title company to have filed! I'm still waiting. The clerk of the court doesn't even have the deed yet!! What a difference!!! I highly recommend Bill Brumsey

We have used Brumsey & Brumsey PLLC to purchase and sell our home of 9 years. I was thoroughly disappointed with my most recent experience at the sale. The communication was lacking and what was delivered was very cold and felt rude. I had to contact them to ask if the paperwork copies and settlement cheque had been mailed as the assistant did not inform me it had. I would have chosen a different law firm second time around if I had known the service was going to be so awful.
