My HOA Board, management company, and this low grade law firm are in collusion on how to rip honest home owners. They keep returning my payments and then slap me with late and attorney fees. The concept of "Home Owners" from the term HOA is now completely gone. These entities are supposed to be for the benefit of home owners; but it is the actually the opposite. The bulk of the HOA dues that are paid by home owners for the upkeep of the community now go into the coffers of these management companies and law firms. Will be very surprised if the Board does not get a cut. Someone should abolish this system and home owners should a develop a true cooperative model.

Deeply troubling to see such unprofessional and inappropriate communication from individuals who should be held to a higher standard—especially when their actions involve serious matters that could impact the safety and well-being of others. Frankly, the reputation reflected in public reviews speaks for itself, and unless there is meaningful change, it will continue to decline. It’s unfortunate that some HOAs resort to hiring low-cost legal representation that prioritizes control and favoritism over fairness and safety. When enforcement appears selective or rooted in discriminatory practices rather than objective standards, it undermines the very integrity of the community.

My HOA (VA) has been working with this firm a very long time, and has been happy with their responsiveness and handling of some difficult cases. As a board member, I am happy with their services. I am guess the folks on the receiving end wouldn't be so thrilled, but they get the job done for us, and have given us sound legal advice when needed. I appreciate their regular newsletter and updates on relevant legal matters, including the roller coaster ride that has been developments with the CTA reporting requirements. Their guidence and instructions on how to file with FinCEN to comply with the CTA were very helpful and easy to follow.
