Chesapeake Commonwealth's Attorney Office

I’ve called several times in regards to a case due to trumped up charges and false information on my statement I was made to believe things were going to be fine and that me as the VICTIM and my word would be taken into account I was absolutely wrong. Stephanie did respond to my voicemail quickly but had me under the impression that she actually cared about what I said when she did not.

The commonwealth attorney is now Stephanie pass. She is very efficient every time I have a question. She returns my calls quickly. She has a very good attitude. This is coming from a convicted felon. She always makes time to return my phone calls.

This office doesn't practice integrity of law, they misplace documents or claim not to have docs the whole time you show them the certified copy date time and stamp. Now they say come when such n such is available who handles those cases. Horrible people and unethical behavior.

I live in Illinois and sold a black powder pistol to a gentleman in Chesapeake, VA. I called the Commonwealth's Office to ascertain the legality of shipping the pistol to VA. Initially, the receptionist said it was a "civil matter" and suggested I contact an attorney. When I pointed out that a violation would be criminal, probably a felony, she then told me to hold on and asked for my name....as if anyone there would know me. Anyway, when she returned to the phone, she said the office "does not give legal advice". That's like a doctor's office saying they don't give medical advice. I sure feel sorry for anyone needing assistance from this office; they clearly have no clue, or interpersonal skills..

Will not call back. Slander prior to court situational awareness ladies 2 female attorneys discussing don't call him he's manipulating the system because I'm going through a divorce (abusive) right before I go in to represent myself do to the neglect this system these men and wemon not hold anyone accountable even themselves but it's a business right. usmc, purple heart, retired.
