In 2021 retained Mark Constantine in a civil contract matter because he had been a longtime friend of my father. After my father passed away, apparently so did their friendship...he increased his hourly rate and declined to pursue counterclaims we had previously discussed. The case involved a document that I maintain I never saw and never signed, yet it became central to the litigation. Rather than addressing my concerns, I was encouraged to settle. If I were going to settle, I never would've hired an attorney. When I insisted on proceeding as planned, he sought to withdraw which left me unrepresented at a critical stage. (The transcripts show before his withdrawal he mentioned moving for summary judgment, which means he saw no material issues a fact, then he quit) I did not understand the

Very unprofessional. This lawyer has made a stressful situation way more difficult for both parties. He doesn’t respond to communication from other law firms and he is unreliable.
