I called in, as I’ve done countless times before, to get assistance with filing a lien. Instead of helping me over the phone, the representative I spoke with, Ashley, told me I would need to do it myself through their online portal. This has never been the process in the past—CNS has always provided lien-filing assistance directly over the phone, which is part of why I’ve stayed with them for so long. To make sure I wasn’t mistaken, I even confirmed with another contractor who also uses CNS, and he said the same: you call them, and they handle the filing for you.
