I reached out to DeVetter Law because I needed to terminate my First Offender probation early. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how it would go, but from the very beginning they handled everything smooth and professional. While Nancy DeVetter is the lead attorney, 95% of my communication was with their paralegal Javonte Middleton, and let me tell you, the guy was solid. Straightforward, no BS, always clear about next steps, and super responsive. He really made the process easy to follow and never left me guessing. They filed everything on time, got the DA’s office to agree, and next thing I knew, I had my signed order from the judge early termination granted, case discharged, no conviction, and all my rights restored (including firearms). They even followed up after to make sure the record update

I don’t even know where to start and really wish there was a 10 star option! When I say that this law firm is above the best please believe me! Ms Nancy is a beast and doesn’t mind jumping leaps, bounds, and hopping in the ring! She knows her stuff and baaaby she doesn’t mind politely standing toe to toe with her opponents! She’s a busy person but takes time to listen, and feel from her heart as well. She’s an angel who shows compassion for her clients. She’s a WIN WIN and her support team follows suit as well. Nancy led us to believe that she could help us with our case, yet as we had further dealings with her, it was apparent to us that we were misled. Nancy rarely, if ever, answered phone calls or emails regarding our case in a timely manner. Quite often, we got no response at all. She did not seem to know whom to go to on our behalf. When given contacts to reach out to, lengthy periods of time past where we were told “We’re waiting to hear back from” whomever we needed information from. We feel there may have been a conflict of interest we were not informed of. We have been waiting for a month to hear from Nancy (with many phone calls and emails having been sent to her by us).
