He accepted my case, I discussed that if they continued my case , how much more would it cost to come back and plead the facts for the first time. He said not to worry about that, and I'm already planning for problems. I said that I want to make sure that I will be able to afford him. He said that along with paying for retention, every time he has to go to court, he would charge me an additional thousand dollars. I asked if that was even if we don't speak to the hearing officer? He told me that I was too worried about money, and to just leave.

This lawfirm took on my BP medical claim case in did a horrible job!!! I waited 10 years just for them to tell me that a New Orleans judge by the name of Barbier dismissed my case! I could have taken the first round of $45000 with hundreds of other claimants ,but they said to wait for a larger settlement. Well, now I get nothing. I'm sure the judges and Douglas smidt got paid for all there involvement but I didn't. The real victim of the BP OIL SPILL!!!!!
