Ruth was an amazing family lawyer for us! Helped my husband get 50/50 custody of his kids after only having every other weekend visits and visits at the mothers discretion. The process was long due to covid but after a year we got the custody my husband deserved. Jamie in the front office was also very attentive to us and always called back when she said she would! My boyfriend went for a consultation and she was 15 minutes late. She say there with a blank stare on her face with no advice to give. Beyond unprofessional, either she lacks knowledge or lacks concern or care for her job. Why would we hire her if she can't answer basic questions at a consultation? There are hundreds of law firms in the Fresno County area don't waist time here Oh the kicker...her fee! She said she charges 6,000 retainer fee and her secretary is $150 am hour. I'm sorry but why is she having her clients pay her secretary separate? So aside from paying her fee you gotta pay her assistant who helps her. Never heard of this before. We actually got two other professional consults with great advice and what a game plan would be in which soon we will select who we hire

Wouldn't recommend. Didn't follow proper proceedings. Wasn't served on time and didn't even sign. Also, informed her of how her client was cheating on me and forcing me out of my section 8 apartment. Attorney wouldn't listen to me about her client also accusing me of molesting a little girl, and some other crimes I cleared with police in her presence and by myself.

One of the best decisions I ever made was retaining Ms. Edginton she is knowledgeable and an exceptional attorney. I recommend her to everyone I know that has a family law case.
