My wife and I can't say enough good things about the Eviction Defense Network. We'd been experiencing financial hardships, couldn't afford an eviction attorney and were referred to EDN by the good folks at We Are LA...another non-profit organization that helps lower income families. Please be advised: EDN cannot guarantee that you will be represented in court on your trial date because they're a small organization with only so many lawyers. But the more they see you working on your own case (attending classes, watching videos, and subpoenaing witnesses and collecting evidence for your notebook) the better your chances are to have an EDN lawyer sit next to you in court. And lastly, be patient, be grateful, watch the videos, attend classes and remember: you are your own best advocate!
