Communicated with Ken Charette regarding simple ficticious name change for my entity. After three months and an $825 bill, I was informed that the firm had discovered a "potential conflict of interest" and that they were no longer providing assistance, effective immediately. When asked why the firm had not checked for conflict when I reached out, it was mansplained "the requested work is ministerial in nature and does not implicate your divorce proceeding." No apology was made, no accountability was taken. Instead, he made a false accusation about me which has nothing to do with anything. THEN, he told me he felt it was inappropriate for him to address something I felt was relevant but he did not. I gave them 5 stars years ago...I recently (January 2022)needed updates for legal work. I called, they promised a call back....never got one. I telephoned 4 days later...Attorney Lentz's assistant/ receptionist promised a call back that day or next...never received one. It's been a two week wait now on a reply. Nothing.. I called today to inform them I'm working with another Law Firm....Timely reply? Hesitate to reach out? Address my needs? I can't even get a return call. No thank you.
