Legal Shield should provide members with better law firms, as this appears to be a recurring issue. I was referred to them in 2022 after my motor vehicle accident, and communication has been frustrating ever since. My accident case remains open, and when I mention this, people often ask which lawyer is handling it. It can take months to receive a callback or email response, which I usually have to initiate. This lack of responsiveness is unprofessional. Additionally, my lawyer continues to discuss details I have already addressed, indicating they were not listening. I was unsure whether I could switch law firms given the signed papers and case timing, though I wanted to. Scheduling and Communication Issues: From the start, communication was a major problem. Our first appointment was scheduled for a specific time via calendar, yet the firm called half an hour early and required me to reschedule. Rescheduling took another 15 minutes on hold with a receptionist. Over time, they called me multiple times without scheduling and when I tried to return the calls immediately, I was placed on hold and couldn’t reach the attorney. Even messages sent via the LegalShield app went unanswered for extended periods. Unprepared and Unprofessional Staff: When I finally did speak with someone, it appeared to be a paralegal

This review is long over due, however I find it necessary to leave, as I received excellent legal advice and guidance from my appointed attorney Ms Cutwright. * She not only knows tenant/landlord law in Virginia, but helped me (tenant) win my case. She was also very compassionate, as this was a beyond stressful situation. I sincerely thank you, FFT, and Ms Cutwright, and will recommend you in the future.

I was connected with them through Legalshield. Pretty sure they actually just don’t want anymore clients, maybe they’re already overbooked or something, but they were impossible to get ahold of. Only could contact them when they called you which they would do during the middle of the workday with no advance warning. I asked them an immigration question and after a week all I received was a link to the US government page about it. Asked for some pricing information about the cost of further services but they wouldn’t give me any indication of how much it might cost. Not willing to write a blank check to a firm like that. Take your business elsewhere.

I was a client for my divorce, through Legal Shield. It is nearly impossible to get a phone call returned. They'll email days later but will not pick up the phone no matter how many times you call and email begging for someone to actually speak to you. I've been working on my divorce paperwork since October 2023. I've spoken to my actual attorney only twice. I'm currently on the phone trying to yet again get someone to actually talk to me. Since no one bothered to talk to me before sending off the final paperwork there are errors on it. Hopefully this won't hold things up further but I won't know because no one will talk to me. I would not recommend this firm at all. Update: I spent more than 20 minutes on hold just to be hung up on. It is now after 5pm so I cannot get through to anyone e
