I went to Mr. Vilsaint for a divorce consult on September 7th 2016 and was very convinced he was going to have my divorce finalized within 6 to 9 months like he said so i priceded and paid him in full cash the same day. Sad to say i am still waiting for any update or news on my divorce it has been almost 2 yrs & 8 months. I call plenty of times and no one picks up and when i leave a message i don't get a call back. I have only spoken to Mr. Vilsaint about 4 times since the meeting. I am very disappointed and upset about this outcome. I have requested for a refund so i can consult another lawyer and proceed with my divorce. This experience with this attorney was horrible I was assigned this attorney as an 18b counsel through the courts they neglected my case in a ongoing base for the last 2-3 years. My case I. The Bronx family Court has been stagnant I still have supervised visitation I never got any assistance with referrals for services, I never got any help from this attorney at all he doesn't respond to emails. My case is serious they gave me nothing but runarounds with my case.
