Mehagen McRae is a brilliant person and lawyer. I came to her after a poor outcome with a different lawyer in JDR court, asking her to review an agreement I would enter into. She immediately recognized that a much better outcome was possible and helped me every step of the way. Due to my previous experience, I was very anxious about the process and possibilities. UPDATE: Found out this woman is now a court appointed JUDGE! 🤦‍♀️ she has no business in legal affairs with how horribly and carelessly she handled my case. Good luck to anyone who is unfortunate enough to encounter her in court. Had a truly unfortunate experience with Razan Fayez as an attorney... if I wasn't desperate for an attorney at the last minute, I wouldn't have worked with her. She was cold and seemed completely uninterested in the details of abuse from my child's father that were relevant to custody. I am now struggling horribly with continued abuse and manipulation from my ex because I had no choice but to settle for shared custody because Razan was uninterested in truly representing me. Mehagen is absolutely amazing in the court and a delight to work with. If she has decided to take your case you are safe. After a very unfair trial in 2019 I had lost faith in Judicial system and the lawyers that are working for fairfax court. Mehagen valued my honesty and used it as her strength. I got the decision making authority for my child's education. Mehagen, represented me well and also earned her attorney fee from the other party. Couldn't have asked for more!! Thank you!!
