Drove over an hour. Website says office opens at 8:30. It’s currently 916 and the security guard said he doesn’t even know where the workers are. This is an absolute joke because how are we supposed to fix anything when there is no line of communication. We’ve called probably 30 times and been on hold 3+ hours. These offices are an absolute joke and cannot help you. You cannot call to make an appointment either because you can’t get in touch with a person. The IRS owes us money and made an error. Even our accountant has sent letter after letter yet they’re trying to say we owe money.

I hate talking to a digital robot!!! She can’t help me but refuses to transfer me, but she can hang up on me!!! I have called before & I get a human, how come I can’t now!!! So tired of dealing with IRS. I finally get transferred to a gentleman which asked what I needed. When I had gone thru my situation there was radio silence on the other end. We were still connected because the timer was still running but he would not answer me, after 10 min of asking for him to respond, I hung up. I called again today (5th time) and after haggling with the digital robot I finally was transferred. System hung up on me because they were “busy”. I visited an IRS office for the first time in my life. After reading so many negative reviews, I honestly didn’t believe my issue would be resolved. To my surprise, everything went perfectly! I was greeted at the entrance by a security officer, a very pleasant gentleman. Then I was assisted by a specialist, a kind and professional woman who calmly explained everything, found the issue, and offered a solution in a short time. I’m still pleasantly impressed! Thank you!

The ai u have to talk to at the start is completely useless it made me wanna break every electrical thing in my house and live by myself in the woods to completey avoid ever talking to it or the irs again

This place is a joke a security guard. I just want to flirt with everyone and one person that you see in there is the least person helpful person I’ve ever met in my life. Rude. Doesn’t even start to describe it. I don’t even suggest you wasting your time to go to this office no matter what information you have or how prepared you are they will not help you in my opinion, this office should be defended.
