Was very quick to return my phone call/email when I initially reached out and took payment same day. Set an expectation that he'd have a demand letter written for me next day and it didn't happen. I followed up multiple times via phone and email and he only ever replied once to say he'd work on it the next day because he was busy with a will. Never heard back from him so I disputed the charge with my bank - I feel like I gave him plenty of chances to just even give me a more reasonable expectation of when I could expect the work to be done. I just wish if he was too busy he would've said so instead of setting expectations he clearly couldn't keep. Caused more stress for a situation that has already caused a lot of stress - wish I had listened to the reviews previously posted.

Mr. Nance is one of the most sympathetic and patient attorney I ever met. I had the most trivial case ever and he worked very hard for me to get justice. Even when I went in labor he still went to my court appearance and represented me. I wish I could give him more stars because if it wasn’t for his knowledge I would’ve lost because I was a train wreck at that time. I thank him for changing my life.

When you have to evict a tenant it is a stressful situation. Hiring a lawyer is supposed to ease some of that stress. Hiring Mr Nance did not alleviate any stress. He piled it on. We went for a consultation which he said would be $150. We decided to hire him and gave him a $750 deposit. He said if we did not need to go through with the eviction process we would be get a $500 refund. We agreed. There were several times in the following weeks that I needed my lawyers advice, but I never got a return call. The email on his business card was undeliverable. 60 days later, the tenant moved out. From the very beginning I should have known to avoid this guy! After almost 24 months of wasting my time and continually telling me he would provide status updates by a certain date and not hearing anything from him, my only recourse was a charge dispute on my credit card. He even promised a refund, after not receiving anything for months, I disputed with my card. This guy over promises, under delivers, doesn't respond, and continuously forgets things. Everything was great at first. Kirk Nance didn’t expect this case to go for so long for the price he charged me. I could tell towards the end he just wanted to get it over because he didn’t charge me enough for the work he has to put in. I said I could pay him more once we win and he pays. But he said no it’s okay I gave you my agreement. Which I could tell it wasn’t okay since he brought it up a few times. Even when the judge had the calculations wrong at court on how much I was owed he said he’ll fix it later. I said how about we fix it now while in court. But he didn’t want to.
