Had to file a complaint with the BBB based off this business. Its a misconceptions this is herr to help, its absolutely not. Its simply a way to make profit off of forms that are free online. I spent 1.5 hours waiting on a notary here, I could hear them in the back laughing loudly after waiting over an hour walked to my car 20 mins to give them some privacy to chatter. Upon returning I was told we only notarize our forms. When the sign on the door says " notary available" If youre a private notary you absolutely cannot advertise as a public notary. They do not wany to help you, its just a bunch of lawyers selling FREE paperwork. I could she just did not want to do her job. This place needs to be investigated, I will be filing a BBB complaint for false advertisement and id file a complint

LBA has a list of lawyers, but not a single one can help fight a simple wrongful speeding citation. No one can refer you or knows of any law office or lawyer who helps fight basic tickets either.

The Lafayette Bar Association actively works against the interests of its own membership ! I wouldn’t recommend to any fellow lawyer to join !

LBA events are entertaining and have a good crowd. The staff members I've worked with have always treated me well.
