Mr Lai will not defend you. He refuses to present evidence to you. He will not call witness. He is actively working against you and your case.

He does not communicate with parents about their juvenile case. Very rude and does not work for the juveniles best interest. He works with the court to trap kids in the system!!! Public defender /weaklawyer. Stay far away

poor communication especially with his assistant. Passive work style. They did almost nothing to me , but told me my money had been used up.

The family lawyer seems to me to be genuine with his intent. My only complaint is that he seems to be a bit passive, to what should be argued, or rather discussed further.

I agree with the other review. Too passive. Not enough power and command in the courtroom. Lost my son's case because of his underwhelming performance.
