Law Office of Erika M. Mayorquin

I initially hired Erika Mayorkin as my attorney and everything seemed fine at first. However, as my court dates approached, communication became extremely difficult. On one occasion, I was told she had a family emergency and could either reschedule or have another attorney represent me. I later found out through social media that she had gone on vacation. She often did not respond to emails, even when deadlines were approaching and materials needed to be submitted promptly. At another court date, she arrived over four hours late, causing significant stress as the court was nearly closing. Very unprofessional. My grandson signed a contract for family law representation. After creating a portal through the app as required, he sent Ms Mayorkin a message. 7 days later and no response. He called and spoke to receptionist who assured him she would leave word with Ms Mayorkin to respond to his message. 4 days later still no response. A call was made to ask about the situation as there has been no communication and court date was approaching. 2 more days and grandson decided to terminate contract as the lawyer wasn’t responding. 500 dollar deposit was required at signing of contract. 450 was returned minus 50 for document preparation. No documents were prepared. 3 weeks time were wasted waiting for Ms Mayorkin to communicate. I don’t recommend this lawyer.

Attorney Mayorquin was highly recommended to me. For me, my case seemed to be complicated and stressful. But when I first contacted her, she mentioned she had handled many cases similar to mine and assured me that I would be able to get positive results. She kept her word! I was able to close my case in a positive matter thanks to go great negotiation skills! Her staff is also friendly and pleasant to work with. My only regret is that I did'nt contact her sooner!

Erika is honest, trust worthy, and very transparent, which I appreciated. I hired Erika for my child support case and family law case she’s very knowledgeable about family law. She knows her stuff and gets things done promptly. She explains the processes and makes you feel taken care of. Honestly, if you are in a child custody situation I would highly recommend her as your attorney at law!

By far the best lawyer I have came into contact with. Very precise if you know what you want, and will fight for what is reasonable. People who are not reasonable will have a hard time with any lawyer, but I feel like Erika would even be able to fight for unreasonable clients. For sure will keep her as a lawyer for any future lawyer needs I have. (She helped me with my child custody case)
