Unfortunately, our most recent experience was extremely disappointing. Despite paying the full amount for legal representation and calling ahead of time to confirm that everything was scheduled, the attorney failed to show up to his USCIS interview. This was a crucial appointment, and we expected professionalism and reliability, especially after years of working together. I don’t even know where to begin with my level of disappointment. When I first hired Fernando Alvarez 10 years ago, I was very young and trusted that he was a reliable attorney. Over the years, however, the quality of his work has declined drastically. He rarely communicates or provides updates on my case anymore, leaving me constantly unsure of what’s happening. The most unacceptable issue occurred in April of this year. He failed to attend my USCIS interview, one of the most important steps in my immigration process. I had hired him and paid in full a month prior, yet he did not show up, and offered no accountability. Although my friend was the one directly affected, I am writing this review as I witnessed everything firsthand as I was by his side throughout this process. Over several years, my friend placed his trust — and future — in this attorney’s hands, consistently paying for services and following guidance in good faith. Unfortunately, the level of care and professionalism expected from an immigration attorney was never met. Lawyer Alvares in our case did a good job, the objective was not achieved but he did help in whatever he could. His team still has a lot to learn, they lack a lot of communication with customers, if you don't call to ask, they don't inform you. And obviously they like to make money like any other lawyer. Very very rude people... al they do is take your money. Claudia is the worst, she screams at you when you dont understand. Would give no stars if it was posible
