Based on my experience, I would recommend Mr. Mendez as a list of possible lawyers to consider for the area of trusts and wills. This is his area of specialty. He was recommended to me by my financial advisor when I needed to decide to do a trust or a will based on my particular situation. He was very professional. He explained everything clearly and helped me make my decision based on my needs. I then recommended him to my uncle and cousin who had a different situation than mine. They eventually chose him among the lawyers they were considering. Overall, they were pleased. I recommend him also to friends who ask.

I don’t think the estate was handled correctly at all. Heirs didn’t receive any paperwork on what was done or what money from the estate went to. Funeral costs never re-compensated. Did the $25k profit from selling property in TN get listed on IRS tax returns (doubtful)? They had no problem closing out Tn bank accounts and sending that money to Florida for the estate, but there’s still property in TN with $20k mortgage left on it. There are accounts that are still in my late mother’s name that were never closed out or changed over. Not professional at all.

Mr. Mendez is very knowledgeable and professional. He really cares about his customers. After the visit, his assistant called me to make sure that I have received the email with all the details regarding the living will. I will definitely recommend him for your family planning as trust, living will, etc.
