After many months of trying, a very nice lady told me they didn't have any time to look into my case, but she gave me some suggestions about what I could do on my own. They seem like good people. But, I guess they are just way over booked.

Some lady on the phone doesn't ask questions about income or anything before she tells you to go somewhere else. Don't know about justice. They should not say on their website they help low income families when they are so quick to tell you off. On the other hand, in the past they did help my grandma get her benefits. I suppose it depends on who helps you.

I had very high hopes for the help that I thought this place would show me. But the lady I spoke with What is nothing but rude, trying to over talk to me when I was speaking. I don’t know not cool at all. I know it’s at the end of the day people are probably tired just think You’re not the only person in the world having a bad day.

I did an application online for help to get my son a lawyer!! He has been sitting in the Albemarle District Jail for over 30 day's now with no lawyer!!! I have sent emails and made phone calls to several organizations that claim to help ensure Indigent offender's get a fair chance!! I have been disrespected by so many North Carolina Judicial employees, they do what they want to do not what they are supposed to do by Law!! I have contacted the Public Defenders office in Currituck and Camden County which are in the same district with one returned phone call!! I left so many messages I can't even begin to tell you!! They gave him a very high bond of $75,000 on a charge that usually is not that high at all!! Its not right all the way around!!!💔
