VERY DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THIS PLACE!! At first they were motivate in provide me helps I need in D/V case and then after waited for weeks to hear from them, only to get the letter in mail stated my case got denied. I even reach them for over year for reconsiderations, only to get rejected multiple times. Their excuses was that they don't have enough lawyers to help every case out there. Then I have been calling them twice ever SINGLE day from Monday through Wednesday, they have been ignoring my voicemails for months!! THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of urgency and support from Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas in Fort Worth. I reached out for help with an emergency custody modification after learning my child’s father is currently incarcerated on serious drug charges with no bond and no foreseeable release. Despite explaining that he is legally unable to make medical or legal decisions for our daughter, I was told they could not move forward with assisting me. Let me be clear—this is not a minor issue. My child was left in someone else’s care without my knowledge or consent, and I was not even informed of his incarceration. I am the child’s mother actively trying to regain legal conservatorship to ensure her safety and stability, and I was turned away when time is critical. Organizations like this

This firm was nice enough to prepare the answer response to the court concerning my case. However I wasted valuable time waiting to see if they would represent me in court. After 2 weeks they sent a letter stating they would not take my case so now I have to start over in my search of a lawyer willing to work for me since I have little money

Took me about two years from start process, but I was diligent on wanting something off my record, and it happened. I just want to say to anyone that feels like it takes too long or anything. I waited 8 years for this, and also I started in another county as welll. Harris county. It’s been a year since everything has finalized ,and I’m doing what I wanted to all those years ago when it was taken away. I made a choice to change that outcome. Just have everything together, and it will work.

So true, so true about this place ! They are no help! You can have a well Bonafide case with documents and all kinds of proof, but they will still find a way to say they can't take your case. It's ridiculous! Like the previous post on here, I am in agreement with them about how they are really no help because it happen to me. I had a Landlord Tenant issue. The apartment complex breached the lease and were cheating the tenants out of their money and they still wouldn't help. It's like they pick and choose who they want to help, if they help at all. This agency is a joke. Don't waste your time!!
