Poor service. Was told there were no lawyers by a phone representative, and then told by another representative that there were lawyers available. They discriminate if you have a little bit of income even though your low income and think you actually can afford a private attorney when you can"t at all. The lawyers that are provided doesn't care to fight for you instead they make excuses and say one thing and the other when they haven't even looked in the case thoroughly or even understand why you have a case when you present to them all sorts of helpful information. Don't waste your time here. This place needs a new revitalization and people that actually care to help the low income people

I been dealing with Ms. Aguirre and she’s been patient and awesome. I grew a relationship with her helping me with my custody case which dragged on for 15 months. She was informative and a understanding with also being a mother. I couldn’t thank her enough for her urgency and dedication in helping me. I truly appreciate her!

Same result as others disabled denied and I gave my ex their # to help us both. Remember conflicts mean they are helping the ex. A compassionate nonprofit would at minimum refer you out. Lesser say call bar association. That action says it all!! Selective help, donations from all. Im requesting change from conflicts to a #phone number to call. To close off help is very miserable. Kind is kind caring is caring compassion is their actual mission and they failed that cause

In 2018 I reached out to this group. Filled out intake form and received a phone call for law counsel. I had the opportunity to speak with a lawyer for 30 minutes. End result they could not represent me as they didn't even live in state anymore. I also was not quite Poor enough. Virginia fails at providing counsel to many underserved individuals to include women who need counsel for many reasons.
