My son retain her for a Traffic ticket that he received. Long story short he was detained because failure to appear that he nor his attorney wasn't aware of. After being detained I his mother tried calling her office numerous times to only get the voice mailbox that was full and couldn't receive messages. After the third day of being locked up she seen my number show up on her caller id. She returned my call. She told me she wasn't aware of his court date that's the reason she didn't show up in court and she would get in contact with the solicitor so the bench warrant could be released. If you want to hire a lawyer just to say you have one, she’s the lawyer for you. Donna L Lockwood-Sims has been by far the worst professional I have ever dealt with. She will not thoroughly review your case, court dates, or provide you with any updates. Donna failed to appear in court with a defendant TWICE. Donna is extremely hard to get in contact with not even the solicitors at Hall County court could get in contact with her so she could show up to stand beside her defendant. Save yourself the time and money and hire a real lawyer that will give you the service you deserve. A true scammer in the system.

The atmosphere of her office is very calming and her receptionist who happens to be her mother is the sweetest lady. Donna Lockwood is one of the best lawyers in Gainesville, GA. She handled my divorce case with diligence and tenacity. She out maneuvered the lawyer on the other side at every turn. If you need a divorce attorney, it would be a mistake not to at least interview with her. I’ll say this, she is my lawyer. I just hope I don’t ever need her ever again, but if I do, she will be the one I will turn to without the slightest reservation.

The lawyer herself is nice, but I called to speak with her about my court date and the receptionist on the phone was extremely, extremely rude.
