Was in Maryland with my wife trying to get in early 2025 trying to fix my daughter's birth certificate to add me as her biological father. Fast forward to now in February and now I live in Alaska due to military reasons. I have spent about $10k in legal fees and was assured that I would be fixed by the fall. No communication with Mr. Blakely and feels like we have been getting the run around by either Marble or the courts. We asked to represent ourselves once and then we're not told we would not be represented after that, even though he assured to provide us with updates. Now wanting $3k to start things again is asinine. To then be told because we live in Alaska that we may have to plea the courts to help us. I had a custody case and they appointed me a lawyer that suggested that I do everything to appease the defendant. Suggested that I not say anything to damage her name while she slanders mine. Even the first appearance judge got on his case about his lack of understanding. In the end . I got 50/50 and still was requested to pay child support and comply with most of what the defendant wanted while he sat there .along money for nothing and they still charged me without overseeing my case at all . Even when I challenged the amount due I got no response. Can't trust all law firms .

Don't waste your money, I filed a complaint with the BBB and contacted the attorney General. They took my $3,500, the attorney won't contact me. I have phone logs that I will be giving to the attorney General.

This place is the absolute worst save your money. 4000.00 and didn’t make it to court one time, for a simple divorce. A new court date had to be given because the lawyer forgot to serve the other party. Asked for $1500 more to continue. Use a local attorney, communication is poor. Stay away!

DO NOT USE MARBLE LAW. THIS COMPANY WASTED MY TIME AND LET ME DOWN WHEN I NEEDED THEM MOST. It is time that is actively being taken away from my son, who is the one truly affected by all of this. I initially contacted Marble Law because I liked the idea of their pay-as-you-go pricing structure. The idea of not needing to pay a large retainer sounded like a lifeline. Money is extremely tight for me, and I imagine most people who come to Marble Law are also facing some level of financial hardship.
