The worst closing experience I've had to date. It's hard to believe that McLain & Merritt has an arrangement with Toll Brothers. It's harder to believe they actually solicit reviews when their service is so poor. We closed on an investment property two weeks ago and McLain & Merritt was the closing firm. Leading up to close, it was already a bad experience with their Closinglock portal (bad user experience), but the worst part was actually on the day of the close itself. We were made to wait for over two hours in their law office without any explanation. We signed our paperwork, Cameron walked out, and we didn't hear back for over two hours. Our loan officer, who happened to be there with us, was able to make some phone calls and provide a status update. They didn't even bother to check up

Closing was seamless and fast! I had a two week window from offer to close, and had Zero issues. Can't ask for more than that. Great communication and professional. The team from McLain & Merritt were a joy to work with and I would happily work with them again!
