It took me some time to write this review because I wanted to reflect carefully before sharing my experience. Unfortunately, I feel it’s important to advise others to STAY AWAY from this practice. I ultimately decided not to work with Mrs. Medel due to her demeanor and the level of disrespect I witnessed. She appeared impatient, easily irritated, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. I left with a very bad impression where arrogance and lack of professionalism were major factors. I am relieved I trusted my instincts and didn’t move forward. In hindsight, the $100 they charged me for a 30 mins consultation (should’ve been 1 hr) was a small price to pay compared to the stress and financial burden that could have come from a longer-term engagement.

Extremely unprofessional and borderline scammer. My mother went to her for help with a simple divorce and after months of not hearing back my mom scheduled an appointment with her asking about the status of the case. At the appointment the attorney said the judge closed the case and there was nothing she could do unless my mom gave her another $1,500.00 even though my mom had already paid her. As someone who works in the legal field and knows this is not how cases should be handled I talked to my mom about what she should do. My mother then went to court herself to find all that was needed to reopen the case was for her to file a simple motion and pay $45. This attorney is awful, do not trust her. I would give her 0 stars if it was possible.

I am grateful to God for having reached this lawyer. She is a professional with extensive knowledge of her area of work, empathetic and honest. She knew how to guide me and always put the welfare of my son first. She is an excellent professional with an admirable human quality.

Charged me 2,500$ to take me to court ounce , took 6 months claims that she got hired to do her job that she’s not actually responsible to defend my case , then just dropped my case personally told me she can’t work with me after I paid her because I’m to negative when all I asked was why didn’t we defend our part of the case against a very unorganized lawyer lost my money and got nothing done waste of time & money . All I wanted was to have my rights to my daughter . Divorce case . Also claims that my time ran out she needed more money ,but regardless wasn’t going to work for me , 6 months for one court date got nothing done and wants more money , Service was Poor , I don’t even write bad reviews .
