not helpful at all don’t waste your time

ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. I’m sure the lawyers/social workers are lovely but the receptionists l/liaisons do not care if you live or die! I was so happy when I came across this practice only to face horrific setbacks. I called to inquire about a consultation and was directed to a 1-800 because all of their cases are assigned to them through that number. The 1-800 number said that they couldn’t help me. I called this office again to see if a lawyer could at least guide me in the right direction but the receptionist said no. Once again, I’m sure the professionals are great but reception is truly horrible.

Upon moving to New Haven I was having issues with the Board of Education not implementing my child's IEP I was referred to New Haven legal assistance. During the PPT meeting I started to notice that the attorney that was assigned to my case was not addressing the important issues that needed to be addressed so my child's Services could be implemented. NO CHANGES WERE MADE. I had to personally pay for a attorney. Out of pocket The educational lawyer that I hired made sure that my child received the paraprofessional that my child needed but by the time I was able to afford this lawyer it was at the end of the next school year weeks before graduation. Nhi had the opportunity to help my child who was struggling socially and academically due to the fact that the IEP was not being implemented

Awful awful awful 😖 need to hire way more attorneys for low income residents dealing with legal matters especially wrongful evictions, they are extremely unprofessional and lack staff the staff are not compassionate and need people that actually want to help you, fire everyone hire all new staff from anywhere but connecticut

They are helpful and very good people specifically my lawyer Maureen Abell
