I worked with this law firm regarding a judgment case. There was some confusion with my information — they had my place of employment correct but the address was wrong, so I was never properly served. I only found out about the situation after looking my name up in the court system and seeing they were attempting to garnish my wages. Once I realized what was going on, I called the office directly and paid the balance. The representative I spoke with was very polite and professional. I received my receipt immediately, the judgment was marked satisfied, and the case was dismissed without any further issues. Overall, it was a smooth process once I reached out. I can’t be upset — I didn’t pay the original bill, so that part was on me. Decent experience handling the matter.

I’m going through a similar situation as everyone else . But this time I’m not just allowing this situation to be okay . They are thieves ! And not filing garnishments in the courts but acting as the courts and sending letters to jobs to hold money and that is very much illegal ! I’m so glad I called and spoke with Becky today who answered my questions the best she could but I have my lawyer on this case now cause I need answers why these garnishments aren’t be filed through courts yet my job is stating they received confirmation from the law firm to withhold money … COMPLETELY ILLEGAL! But I have taking the steps today to get this matter situated I’m not waiting on a email that will probably never come . Just received a letter foe my son stating "we have not received a payment and legal actions." ALL LIES! I called and the black lady didn't care. Called back, she hung up on me. So, I drove down there. The older Caucasian lady at the desk stated "she didn't understand why they sent a letter about nonpayment!" I went ahead and paid off the large balance in full today (in-person). I regret making payment arrangements. They can't be trusted, just my opinion. Never again! Henrico courts need to find another firm to handle collections. These people will cause you to get violated!!!! Glad I had all my receipts then drove there and paid all of it off and got receipts on letterhead! Look at the horrific reviews. I bet a class action lawsuit will straightened it.

I absolutely was not happy with how Dpu sent me my last bill, did not explain the collections and how I got charged over the Lawyer fee although:... I will say I have called a few times and when speaking to Danielle F. She just was so Knowledgeable so Informative And all around just a baddie! I really appreciated her and keep her give her a raise treat her well!!

I called and experienced horrible customer service when i called back they wouldn’t answer. I used someone else phone and when they answered i asked if they have caller id and the lady confirmed yes. So it’s clear they screen calls.
