We contacted this office for a real estate and estate/will litigation representation. They referred us to a team in their other office. Nearly two years later and six figures of invoices for questionable work our case failed. The litigator assigned was a nice guy but fell flat on his face in the courtroom. He was often aloof and disconnected. Literally pulled us into the hallway during proceedings and asked us to direct him what to do. My spouse is an experienced Ivy League attorney and was upset. Toward the end we had two independent attorneys review our case/situation/key docs and they both concurred this firm massively fumbled our case. But for the ongoing mental stress and added cost we would’ve filed suit against this firm for malpractice. Utterly utterly horrible.

Avoid this law firm! One of their lawyer's I spoke with named Michael Hooper utilized the GIS of the assessors website to make claims about encroachment, which is malpractice. I had a survey done on my property and that is what lawyers go by, not the GIS of the assessors website because such a GIS is not accurate. Also, the amount of money that the lawyers of this firm charge is ludicrous and is almost $600 an hour! Mr. Hooper also told me that I can't do anything about a neighbors steps encroaching on my land due to color of title which is not true at all. In order for color of title to be enacted, there has to be open and notorious possession of someone living in the neighboring house and there hasn't been anyone living there in weeks and I have video proof so now if any color of title o

I have had several bad experiences with lawyers but this firm was different. I first met with a partner who was known for handling difficult cases involving parental alienation. His fee was high and I spent a fortune on a really bad lawyer so I explained that I couldn't spend a lot of money. He took the time to tell me ways I could save money. He said be concise with your phone calls and emails. He assigned associate Frank Johnson to my case. Frank cost approximately half of the partners price. Frank was friendly and helpful but tough enough to shut me down when needed inorder to save money. If he didn't have an answer to something he would get it. My case was very complicated and I ended up getting full physical and legal custody of my kids. My case was resolved relatively quick

A lawyer practicing at this firm disappeared on me for 6 weeks. I spoke to the managing partner Mathieu Shapiro about my experience with another attorney at the firm. And explained what happened Mathieu politely told me I was a liar and that never happened. Funny when I have a text message from this lawyer saying they went Mia for 2 months. Dozens of un answered calls and voice mails and about half as many unresponed to emails. When speaking to other lawyers they suggest I bring it up to the managing partner because now I have to go to mediation and potentially court. Every one I spoke to says this is a prime example of legal malpractice which I will be perusing ones the surrogacy they were hired to represent me at is over.

If this firm is reflective of attorney Matthew Green, look elsewhere. Adds no perspective or insight of value, disconnected from activities and not in tune with needs. Comments like, "it slipped through the cracks" and constant delays are what you are in store for. There are plenty of other options.
