She was recommended. Since she's from Nigeria, a big advantage for us. NOT! While talking to her to schedule an appointment, she wanted to know how we met and gave her a short story. First thing out of her mouth was, "I hope he doesn't break your heart", which was inappropriate. But let it go. The appointment was the next day. Arrived at her office with documents she asked me to bring, talked about her fee among other things. Once again she said " I hope he doesn't break your heart". Fast forward to my next appointment with more documents and her fee. She gave me instructions about filing forms with her or on my own. Decided to file with her until she said for the third time "I hope he doesn't break your heart". Then added a statement about our age difference. Very unprofessional and lacki

Of the several people that I have referred to her over the years(a referral as recent as last week), all of them are so grateful that I sent Pat their way. During the process of our divorce, my ex husband and I had a very civil relationship. A few weeks before our divorce was finalized I emailed this attorney for the status on documents that I was required to review prior to our final court date. She called me on my cell rather than replying to my email, yelled at me for requesting status on our case, and referred to me as a money hungry mother. I have hired an attorney and he is currently assisting me with finalizing this case as she has dragged it for 6 months. Additionally, I have filed a grievance against her.
