I just completed a real estate sale with Pekarek. I entered the transaction with heightened attention due to an experience with another firm that was very poor. Happy to say that Pekarek and his team did an excellent job and the transaction was completed today. Specifically, the team was very responsive and delivered my responsiblities to me in a clear and concise way. Highly recommend for real estate transactions in WNY!

When we decided to move to New York and purchase a home, we had no idea how complicated things could get. Past experiences buying and selling homes have been very straightforward without issue. However, complications arose when the inspection of the septic system on the property failed. Issues arose associated with the installation of the new septic and leach field, which could not have otherwise been resolved without all of the hard work and effort of Mr. Pekarek. Ed Pekarek took time to listen to our concerns and provided appropriate guidance on the matter. Ultimately, Pekarek worked hard to ensure both parties came to an amicable resolution so we could move forward with our lives and avoid costly and time consuming litigation. Ed and his colleagues are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and responsive - as well as trustworthy and kind. I've worked with them over the course of a few years and have never been disappointed. They managed a complicated local real estate transaction for me (and I live in Boston!) and continue to help our family as we wrap up a separate estate transaction. I cannot recommend this firm enough and will continue to turn to them for assistance time and again.

They wasted 3 weeks of my time before they finally notified me (after repeated calls from me) that they were too busy to take on my work. Complete waste, terrible customer service and communication. Edit: the firm's response to my review refers to me living in another state, yet I live in Steuben County, both now AND at the time I was requesting their services. The brilliance of their research and customer awareness speaks for itself.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this group of 3 for legal consultation. Long story short, I paid $200 for a 1-hour consult. She gave me wrong information. Called my mortgage bank (2 different CSR's for verification) on who was mortgage vs deed holder. I went to another lawyer (1/2 hour FREE consult like the old days) & he stated that other lawyer was wrong. Also, 5 weeks & 3 calls later to see if she sent a simple 1-paragraph email to opposing lawyer that she promised (but never did). Deserve everything you get with this one.
