Just another hollow shell of a social program to make you seem like a crazy person when you can't get help

Philadelphia Legal Assistance (PLA) offers free legal aid to low-income residents dealing with civil issues like unemployment benefits, family law, housing disputes, and consumer debt. They’re a great resource if you need legal help but can’t afford a private attorney. The staff is knowledgeable and tries to guide you through the process, but it’s best to call ahead or check their website for eligibility requirements and appointment availability. The office is conveniently located in Center City, near public transit, making it easy to access for those in need.

I rated it five stars even though I've never dealt with them before but is it possible to obtain a lawyer even though you can't pay for one and can it be done over the phone rather than in person?

If you need help with family law or PFA you can only call Tuesday & Thursdays from 9:30am - 12pm. What a joke & of course on those days with such lil time you can’t get anyone.

I wish I could give these people zero stars. They literally provided no help just nothing but collecting information and never following through with anything…I hadn’t heard an update from these people since June 17th and when the person did call they just called to tell me they were goin to be on vacation.. i guess it’s very tiring doin LITERALLY NOTHING for the people in the community they claim to serve
