I appreciate the help I have gotten from prep xpress!! I was in a rush to file my dissolution which had been sitting for maybe 3-4 years because the courts intimidated me and the whole process was exhausting for me. I was approached at the entrance of the court and I walked back to the office hesitantly thinking this will cost an arm and a leg. I was seen right away and surprisingly the fees were reasonable. I’ve been to prep express and several business with them, as in the past they treated me with respect and curtesy. However on April this year, I went to do business once again, as I’m in the middle of divorce and requested for their services. After me dictating all the info that I needed to the clerk it came to me as a draft and was all wrong. I immediately contacted them and let them know it was all wrong and by then I decided to cancel, “as they were not meeting my expectations. Now 3 months later I get an email telling that they cannot return my $750, as according to them I did not cancel soon enough. I’m very disappointed and will take them to small claims.

Please please.. do not trust this place. I went for a single attorney representation that never took place. I paid $ 600 fees for that. my case had been transferred to another county, and I am no longer interested in their representation. My money had been stuck there doing since August. I finally submitted the form to request my refund from 11/4/21 they ask for 2 weeks to refund and they retained a fee of$ 120 for cancellation. After all that and I ve been calling and asking for my refund all the receptionist refers you to a ghost supervisor that never calls back and play games on the phone giving you names of peoples that doesn’t even call and tell you that refund is the longest process bla , bla , bla to wear you out, so you don’t ask for your refund anymore. Recently lost my copies of court papers from years ago and Lynn was nice enough to explain the process to me of how to get new copies as well as texting me the address to go to which was super helpful. 4 years ago I went through them for a name change and I remember they made it easy and stress free: I paid, they did all the work needed, i showed up to court, and was granted my daughters last name change! Recommend going here.
