I was represented by the Law office of Carmen B. Ramirez in my divorce. She first and foremost kept the interest of my children first and secured for them what the law required of me as their father. Throughout the divorce process, Attorney Ramirez treated me professionally. Throughout negotiations, she also treated my soon to be ex-wife fairly with respect and dignity as the responsible mother of my children who in the end remained in her custody. By nature divorces are not an easy or pleasant experience to go through for everyone involved. With the assistance of a professional attorney, who adheres to ethical standards, divorces are survivable. I highly recommend Attorney Ramirez. 5 stars is not enough. If there were 6, Mrs. Ramirez would have earned them easily.

I was closely involved in my brother’s custody case and witnessed firsthand the deeply disappointing role this amicus attorney played — someone who was appointed to represent the child’s best interest but, in my experience, failed entirely in that duty. Throughout the case, she consistently aligned with the mother and her high-conflict attorney, showing open bias and making no meaningful effort to consider the father’s role or the child’s actual needs. In court, she contributed little substance — but when she did speak, it was often to misrepresent or exaggerate the child’s experience in order to cast the father in a negative light. I was a witness in a divorce case and, in my personal experience, I felt that this lawyer did not strongly advocate for the child’s best interests. In my opinion, she did not demonstrate the level of strength or protection I would have expected for a vulnerable child. Based on what I observed, I would not recommend her services. If you are looking for someone who is a strong voice for the child’s best interest, I suggest considering other options.

She was brought into my case as the child’s attorney, but it quickly became clear she was aligned with the mother and her attorney rather than focusing on the child’s best interests. Despite presenting herself as “child-focused,” she consistently supported the mother, misrepresented facts in court, and even lied more than once to portray the father negatively.
