I hired Stardom Prep to prepare and record quitclaim deeds for transferring property into my LLC structure. I paid for both document preparation and recording coordination services. After submission to the Clark County Recorder, the documents were denied due to procedural and ownership-structure misunderstandings that should have been anticipated and addressed by a qualified document preparer. When I asked Ms. Singleton to correct the issue, she claimed she was “just a runner,” even though her business advertises professional document preparation services. She showed limited understanding of the applicable laws — particularly NRS 240A (duties of document preparers) and NRS 247.145 (Recorder’s authority) — and repeatedly deflected responsibility instead of providing professional guidance.
