State Attorney

I met John McCarthy for a paralegal studies program at Montgomery College I was in a few years ago.He was my professor for one of the classes. This time I went to the office to press charges against someone who has been harassing me. The young woman there was trying so hard not to get bored of listening to me and then tells me that criminal trials/ hearings are boring. Also, the entire I felt like she was gaslighting me and going on a power trip because she got a decent job right after law school. Don’t know why she's in law if she finds it boring. It's really sad you get all these people working in law for the prestige but not the helping part. Why waste all the time trying to be fake when you can really be doing something else? Why suffer for work when you can just do something you like.

Trash agency. They do not care about people. They do not help domestic violence victims; they just waste their time and tell them to go elsewhere after several months past. Providing proof and accommodating court documents means nothing to them. It's a sad lot. Where are the dedicated attorneys?

So let me guess you charge 5 teens at Damascus High where 4 of them if convicted gets life even though the US Supreme court ruled you can't sentence someone under 18 to life in prison. The adult who gets charged for the near identical crime at UMD only gets 25 yrs. Tell me how it is legal. Maryland is a stupid hypocrite state where you punish the woman more in similar or near similar crimes versus a man. I think all 4 charged as adults should face 25 years in prison.

Very rude , the attorneys dont even seem like they want to be there and help you they see what ur presenting as u reading them a bed time story and not u asking for help to save urself from a criminal THIS IS A REAL LIFE EVENT and ask u questions that are out of topic just to look for ways to dismiss ur request this is not a child’s play its our lives at stake!!! Very unprofessional it might be a day to day “oh well im back at the office” thing to u but its our lives that are on the line we are depending on the state to protect us n here they are playing games with our lives acting wayy rude unprofessional and lazy! Pls do u job AT LEAST

I honestly think these people are prejudice i don't think they care about certain types of victims that's trying to get justice. this is Maryland tho a liberal state
