First, I have to say that Lisa Batts is the only one I would recommend for family law. Lisa and everyone at her office communicated everything I needed to know when I needed to know it. If you’re looking for someone to over communicate and indulge you’re every whim you should probably go find a counselor. If you’re looking for someone to represent you for what’s best for your children, Lisa would do an amazing job for you. I was honest and straightforward with the situation and what my expectations were. Before finding Lisa, I had gone through 3–4 different family law attorneys in the area and had some truly terrible experiences — unreturned calls, endless delays, thousands of dollars wasted, and little to no real progress. 0/0 would not recommend. If you want to waste a ton of money to never be able to get through to anyone and when you do get through, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Different answers, no real legal advice, no action. They don't care about your children- they care about your money and they will leave you high and dry with NO results. Also, they don't like it if you call and get upset that no one ever returns your phone calls as promised. Lisa will not call you back but will send you a letter in an email written up by her assistant. They were not helpful to me in anyway and broke a lot of promises. Their office also caused me to lose time with my child and blamed me. Again, if you care about your child, don't hire these people, because they couldn't even tell you what

Lisa was nothing but amazing ,I was referred by Pat Washington & Thing I regret is not hiring her 6 years ago,It took her no more than 2 months to get the ball rolling & Next thing you know Ball n the Basket ,She Meant business from day 1,I Saw her in action in court setting listen if I had to go against her ,I woulda just said you win,Hire Lisa Batts today don’t wait ,Don’t listen to negativity jus hire the best ,I had a lawyer for 6 years did nothing but agree with other lawyer - no motion no money just time wasted - Not Ms Batts 💪🏾🙌🏾I love them 10/10 Oh shout out to her Team I was thinking they are sick of me ,But we got the job done ❣️

My daughter Jamie was a first time driver. 2 weeks into her passing the test she took the car out and someone crashed into her at an intersection. JD law group was there for us every step of the way and continued the communication until the very end. I highly recommend to use them. Excellent customer service!!
