Taxpayer Advocate Service Office

Can anyone help me? I have not gotten my 2024 tax return payment. I've spoken to Advocacy line and I even had a virtual meeting with a IRS rep. No one is helpful at all!! No one can tell me where my funds are and when I should expect them.

I submitted the Form 911 on 3/2025 and received TAS's reply promptly. At the end my case was resolved on 10/2025 . I know it took time but it was worth a wait ! So, be patient! Thank you so much TAS, because of you my voice was heard after years calling the IRS in hopeless.

After being notified in Dec 24 that I owed taxes, penalties and interest for a significant amount of unreported income in 202. I sent IRS proof that I did not have a gain that I actually lost money on the investment. This was July 2024. 6 months later I get a form letter from the IRS telling me that no adjustments were going to me made. Was impossible to get through to a live person on the IRS 800!question line. Called the Advocacy Office. Plead my case. Phone Rep listened and cared. She looked my case up and advised that their records revealed that I was due a refund. She could not tell me why my letter did not say this. Very frustrating but at least the Advocacy Office rep was very helpfull.

My tax refund for 2024 has been DOGEd! I tried calling Taxpayer Advocate Center after not being able to get a person on the 1040 line at the IRS. I can't get a real person to speak with me here either and I'm going to complain to my Congress Representative.

These people are a complete joke,no help at all!!! I was told by my advocate that I would have an answer for my issue by the 15th of August it is now September 10th. I have been calling and leaving voicemails with no return phone calls. I see why they have nothing but bad reviews! I've even called my advocates supervisor and still no results! This is just sad!! I will never use this service again!
