The worst service ever they do not help u at all. With nothing just a waste of time and talking this is a false advertising company and I recommend everyone not to use their services they will lead u on and lie to you causing confusion and headaches. Again DO NOT USE TEXAS RIO GRANDE LEGAL AID. THEY ARE BS

It is understandable that legal offices are busy especially ones that offer free services, but that is precisely why they need a better system for inquiries to determine eligibility. People should not have to wait 4-5 hours in the phone to find out they are not even eligible for services.

Their services are poor they will work with you then deny you even if you meet the to requirements for their services they're offering to the community

I reached out to Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) for help with a serious education-related issue. Unfortunately, I never received a response to my messages, and my case was dropped without any real explanation or support. It felt like I was just left hanging, “dropped like a bad habit,” even though I was trying to protect my rights and needed guidance. I understand that legal aid organizations are busy and have limited resources, but it was discouraging to be ignored and left without assistance. If TRLA could not take my case, I would have appreciated at least a timely response or a referral to another resource, rather than silence.

I was trying to get help for a divorce cause I was in a domestic violence situation and apparently the questions that was asked didn’t apply and so they couldn’t help…
