Peter Lake Law office has a client by the name of Lendmark whom seized my bank account with prior notice to me. The paralegal that works at the agency (Charlene) mocked me as she repeated the high interest rate that I owed towards an outstanding balance. She doesn't know my financial history or my financial situation. This company put me into crisis and since my account were frozen I was at risk of not being able to pay my rent. She also kept calling me Ms. Hoskie and it sounded as if she was identifying me as Mr. Hoskie. They made it very stressful and intimidating throughout the experience. They were very tactic with providing the necessary legal documentation to my PNC bank but made if difficult to get the acquired information to have the information released from my account.

If I could give 0 i would. Peter never answers the phone/ email. I moved and needed to access some money, they told my bank to freeze all of my accounts. Then I had to wait until Monday morning because the garnishment. So try living a life with a wife and 2 children and not being able to access money because nobody wants to answer the phone and call the bank to communicate.

I am writing a review to let you know to watch out for Peter s lake. I had a loan thru lendmark financial and I was behind so they filed a warrant in debt against me. I had my account brought current TWO WEEKS before the court date I was informed by lendmark and Charlene that they could not seek judgement if my account is current, fast forward three weeks later I have a DEFAULT judgement in my name. Which is wrong AND ILLEGAL. I worked in civil and know all the ins and outs. What PETER S LAKE ESQUIRE did is. WRONG AND ILLEGAL.

I had a debt collection from a long time ago I never paid, I was young and foolish. Charlene is a saint, she was willing to help someone who had made a mistake and made the settlement process so easy. She was kind and understanding.

These people are scam artists who claim to be "debt collectors". They will threaten and bully you to try to pay off "debts" that they claim you owe. The lady went as far as to threaten to take it out of our bank account if we didn't pay what we supposedly owed.
