BEST OF THE BEST! I was referred to this Law Firm 18 years ago by my employer at the time when I received my first ever speeding citation. Though my goal isn’t to acquire these citations, lol, but when I do, Howard’s law firm is the only one I’ll call to retain legal counsel. I’ve also used Howard for a car accident settlement, and he was by my side every step of the way and got me the compensation I deserved. I have been nothing but satisfied each occasion that I have reached out. I’m truly honored to not just call Howard my attorney, but my friend. I can’t speak highly enough of his firm, his genius and also to the genius of his staff!

0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! On October 4, 2025, at 7:34 PM, I called attorney Howard K. Ross seeking legal assistance for a serious assault and racial discrimination matter. His website and Google listing had no listed business hours, so I had no guidance on when it was appropriate to call. When he answered, he immediately sounded irritated. After I explained the situation, he yelled at me, told me to apologize for calling “during his time,” said that “stupid people call on weekends,” and called me “dumb.” He repeatedly talked over me and then hung up on me. After I identified myself as a Black woman who had been attacked by a white woman and her dogs, his tone changed — he laughed, expressed disbelief, and became dismissive. I believe his conduct was discriminatory, unprofessional, and uneth

My wife and I contacted him about a potential case that we would need help on and he was very very very rude over the phone and told us "why are you calling me? A smart person would think to call me on the weekdays. Why are you contacting at this time of night?" Mind you online there are no certain business hours stating what time his office or he is available or unavailable. We were referred to him by a close friend of ours and that's how he treats potential clients? Absolutely not.

I was referred to Mr. Ross by another attorney I know in Greensboro. I left a message for him to call me. He returned the call within TWO HOURS, he listened patiently and was extremely polite and empathetic. I needed information to see if I immediately needed an attorney and he could have taken advantage of my fear. Instead he was calm reassuring and told me wait until things developed and call him back. He gave me some advice in the interim as well. He was a total gentleman, already I highly recommend him and feel sure he will be a great attorney
