I hired Kelly as a referral from a friend of mine. Unfortunately, she was thrown into my custody case in the middle with little reaction time to pending court dates. She listened to my situation, worked hand in hand with the GAL, and has been pushing the case along as best she can. I realize that the court system is very slow, but while remaining patient, I'm getting proper updates from Kelly, and the communication to the GAL, opposing attorney, and judge has been very well written or spoken. I feel she really understands my situation, and she's on my team in getting me access with my kids. ***Update*** Kelly has worked her magic and I have finally had access to my children and she is pushing towards 50/50. I couldn't have done it without Kelly!

We hired Kelly Vecchio in June of 2019. Prior to hiring her we had already attended mediation with the other parent since that was a condition set by the previous court order. Since last year she has not made any progress in the court proceedings. She would go to court and say we hadn't attended mediation and hearing would get postponed. To please the court mediation was attended again and yet she still showed to court stating we did not attend to mediation. She will not take your case seriously and will be unprepared for court. After finally having enough a message was left for her office on why the judge wanted mediation AGAIN FOR A 3RD TIME?!?! And no response, of course. I hired Kelly for a child custody case against my abuser, who frequently uses our child for his own personal vendetta. Months after our case closed, I had the state of Illinois contact me because Kelly had “negotiated” a child support amount that was below the legal limit he was entitled to pay. Two years after my case was over, my abuser discovered that Kelly had mistakenly put someone else’s visitation schedule in the final agreement, and began holding my daughter to that schedule, despite having our own that we worked out in mediation based on my daughters best interests, that we had been following for years. If you read any reviews before you hire this law firm, please take the time to read this one! I so desperately wish I had instead of just trusting a close contact referral. I had hired Anne Vecchio in March of 2021. It is February 2022 now as I write this. Back in March of 2021 she had helped me to file for full custody of my son. It was a straight forward case, I just wanted a parenting agreement in writing, as well as obtain child support. Over the summer we worked on getting the parenting plan straightened out, something the father and I worked on together with her advice of how to word some things. I hired Kelly Vecchio to represent me with a very simple child support case. After over a year of no appearance required court dates which I of course had to pay for. One day I received a statement that showed my funds had been transferred to my fiancee account which she also was representing him for an unrelated case. I called several times to her office asking for an explanation. I never received a call back. Her Secretary just kept telling me she will take my message. Months went by and I never heard back from their office. She left me hanging as far as my case goes. Its been almost a year now and I just found out how to report her to be investigated. She not only stole my money I had in my trust account, but she also forced me to go without receiving Child Support for my kids. I am a s
