This company needs to be investigated. I have been having issues with them for almost a year now. I tried to get my job to cover my debt and they would not send any paperwork. Now I have a court order. I am trying to solve my payment issues and the employees are freaking horrible and rude. I wish someone else took over my debt instead of here.

Very unprofessional! Thomas Avrutis wants to collect money for one of his clients but is unwilling to write up a simple agreement. Having a judgment placed upon someone that in actuality did nothing wrong in the case. Thomas was hired to collect a judgment debt but. Numerous times we have ask him to put it in writing and the payments will start coming. After being screwed by previous attorneys we don't trust him. It's simple paper saying when its paid he will release our judgment and we want to expunge it at our expense with no objection. Thomas is unreasonable and will not do this! Must be a reason. These other couple reviews must be from fellow attorneys or friends. They do not describe this law firm for what it truly is. As for Gary Ketterings review should be totally disregarded. Gary

For those living in Florida beware. If you have debt collection, this attorney will find the jackpot. I totaled a car in 2005. When the GAP insurance supposedly pays, the note was a write off. I keep all my paperwork on notes. Either the GAP company kept the money or Huntington bank. I’ve called Huntington about the issue years back about clearing the note. They have no record. Due to the age being wrote off. This attorney doesn’t represent who he says. Just his own wallet cause he has a paper saying he’s an attorney looking for easy debt or say payday. Florida is a 20 year deal with debt. This guy will sent stuff that don’t look official, but is in his letter head.

I called Tom Avrutis for some legal advice, and while he could not take my case, Mr. Arvutis was incredibly helpful with both good advice and hard truths that I needed to hear. He was very knowledgeable and kind enough to point me in the right direction, even referring me to another attorney that he had tried cases against. It was less than a 15 minute conversation and he had NO motivation to assist me--but he was really very helpful. I hope I never need an attorney, but if I do, I'll be calling Tom Avrutis.

Recently this law firm took responsibility for a collection that belonged to my wife. We reached out to this law firm the previous year to try and settle the debt and they would only accept full payment. We were unable to make the full payment at that time and gave up trying. Then in December this law firm sued my wife and took her to court. We were scheduled for a pre-trial mediation in Brevard County in the city of Viera on February 19th. We arrived at small claims court ready to mediate the debt. The law firm did not show up. My wife received the paperwork that the case was dismissed and we went on our way. Then today, we received a letter from this law firm that they were accusing her of not showing up in court and wanting us to pay their legal fees? How is this even legal? And who doe
