Updated Review – July 8th At first, I wasn’t sure about Mr. Larry Cortez , he came off a bit rough around the edges. But when our community needed real legal support during a contentious HOA election, he stepped up in a big way. Despite being harassed and berated by the previous administration, he remained composed, professional, and focused on doing what was right. He helped ensure a fair election, cited the bylaws accurately, and even pointed out areas needing improvement. He went above and beyond, and I genuinely respect how he handled it all. No attorney is perfect, but Mr. Cortez proved he's the right one when it counted most.

Not impressed with his work. Language in proposed amendments misleading, commas misplaced to make what seems to be proper language, not. Very condescending to homeowners. He demonstrated distain for the owners acting like we were stupid.

I would not recommend this attorney. He was sued by Tree Lake HOA for LEGAL MALPRACTICE . Not only that but he has also had several default judgements against him. Research your lawyer before wasting your time and money. A good education goes a long way…Barry University law school accepts over 60% of applicants.

This guy is a crook, hired by my association to collect on past due fees, which we were having financial difficulty at the time. Charged astronomical fees and treats every one like he is somehow superior to them. When I am two months away from being completely paid in full he is now charging me more fees that he just made up. 150.00 for having to just talk to me when his sub par help couldn't answer a simple question. I sent him a check to fully pay off our payment agreement then he sends it back denying it cause I didn't pay him his 150.00 made up fee then charges me 150.00 for sending back a good check. This person, Larry, is as immoral and indecent as they come. He refuses to take my payment and won't relent on his made up fees. I can see why he has such bad reviews cause he is
