WARNING- I would highly suggest NOT hiring Mary Anne. She has zero knowledge of contemporary technology, which a lawyer in this day and age needs to know! Plain and simple she needs to retire. To be honest if even if you decide to hire her as soon as the case get a bit tough (the very basics) she will quit, or suggest finding another lawyer as she will not argue for her clients. She will give misinformation, not know if you are signing a temporary agreement or permanent one. When you tell her the other party is directly going against the order she will disregard it then when brought to her attention at a later date yet again she will become confused and ask why you never mentioned it. For any reviews that were good I assume these people dealt with very basic cases or maybe dealt with her 6

Retained Mary Anne - then dropped for “family reasons”. No lawyer will take it on without huge retainers. Been a huge headache!

I hired Mary Anne Ducharme for my family law case, and my experience was extremely disappointing. She initially seemed confident about helping me with a motion for change, but there were numerous errors in the legal documents that I pointed out, which seemed to annoy her rather than prompt corrections. At one point during a case conference, she expressed concern about me losing time rather than focusing on getting what I needed. After a motion hearing, the judge approved scheduling a special appointment on an urgent basis, but Mary Anne failed to follow through and ignored my emails and calls for several months. In light of my experience, I would strongly advise against hiring Mary Anne Ducharme for your family law needs. Her behavior and attitude towards clients are unacceptable, and her performance may not meet your expectations.
